Dear parents,

I am Beatriz, the English teacher.

After a month with your children the period of adaptation has expired, so we have already started to work. They have a lot of fun in our lessons. And now you can collaborate with me. For that reason you are receiving a letter like this one at the beginning of each term, in which I am telling you the contents I am working with your children in the English time.

From Bambu we ask for your collaboration to reinforce the learning of this new language. Your children are working and learning the English language as natural as possible, so it is very important to work together in order to maximise their learning.

In the English lessons we respect the students’ individual learning too. And now I introduce to you the contents we are working in  October-December. I encourage parents to practice these contents with your children, you will get surprised.

  • General manners: Hello! / Good morning! / Bye, bye!
  • General actions: Sit down. Stand-up. Find your cushion. Silence / Be quiet.
  • Vocabulary: COLOURS (red, green). NUMBERS (1,2). ANIMALS (dog, cat, bird, fish). ACTIONS (crawl, walk, stop). WEATHER (sun, rain, snow). SHAPES (circle). ADJECTIVES (small, big). FAMILY (mummy, daddy). FOOD (apple, banana). SEASONS (autumn, winter). CLOTHES (coat, scarf, gloves, rain boots, boots).CHRISTMAS AND HALLOWEEN VOCABULARY, AND SONGS.
  • Affectivity: kisses, I love you, hugs.

Queridos papás,

Soy Beatriz la profesora de inglés. Después de un mes con sus hijos, el periodo de adaptación ha pasado, por lo tanto ya hemos empezado a trabajar. Se lo pasan muy bien en las clases. Y ahora los papás pueden colaborar conmigo. Por esa razón, al principio de cada trimestre recibirán una carta como esta en la cual les contaré los contenidos que voy a trabajar en la hora de inglés con sus hijos.

Desde Bambú les pedimos que colaboren para reforzar el aprendizaje de esta nueva lengua. Sus hijos están trabajando y aprendiendo la lengua inglesa de la forma más natural, por lo tanto es muy importante trabajar juntos para maximizar su aprendizaje.

En las clases de inglés respetamos también el aprendizaje individual de cada alumno. Y ahora paso a presentarles los contenidos que trabajaremos durante los meses de octubre y diciembre. Les animo a que practiquen los siguientes contenidos con sus hijos, se sorprenderán.

  • Modales: Hola / Buenos días / Adiós /
  • Acciones generales: Sentaos. Levantaos. Encontrad vuestro cojín. Silencio
  • Vocabulario: COLORES (rojo, verde). NÚMEROS (1,2). ANIMALES (perro, gato, pájaro, pez, tortuga). ACCIONES (gatear, caminar, parar). TIEMPO (sol, lluvia, nieve). FORMAS (círculo). ADJETIVOS (pequeño, grande). FAMILIA (papá, mamá). COMIDA (manzana, plátano). ESTACIONES (invierno, otoño). ROPA (abrigo, bufanda, guantes, manoplas, botas de agua,botas). VOCABULARIO DE HALLOWEEN Y NAVIDAD, Y CANCIONES.
  • Afectividad: besos, te quiero, abrazos.
